A system reset for civic life.®

ReBooth is a new kind of voting experience

A mobile, modular booth system designed to reimagine where and how young people engage with democracy. Born at the intersection of political apathy and cultural energy, ReBooth is more than just a voting space: it’s a civic activation hub that doubles as a pop-up for youth salons, public discussions, and cultural mixers. Portable, sustainable, and community-adapted, ReBooth gives voting a new look—and gives young voters a new voice.

Designing for the unheard

We design for the generation that’s grown up online but feels left out of the system offline. ReBooth targets Gen Z and Millennials—especially first-time voters, politically curious youth, and those in culturally rich but underrepresented communities. They're skeptical, socially driven, and ready to act—if the experience meets them where they are. Our mission is to bridge that gap through design, storytelling, and collective space-making.

We asked. They answered.

Our approach began with community workshops, surveys, and one-on-one interviews across neighborhoods like Echo Park, Chinatown, and Highland Park. The takeaway? Young people don’t dislike voting—they dislike how irrelevant, sterile, and inaccessible the process feels. They crave spaces that reflect their identity, let them gather, and make them feel seen. Voting isn’t just an action—it’s an atmosphere. That insight shaped every part of ReBooth.

More than a booth. It’s a brand for a generation.

At its core, ReBooth isn’t just about voting infrastructure. It’s about giving civic participation a new visual language—one that feels current, localized, and social-first. Through bold typography, adaptable color systems, and community-inspired textures, the ReBooth identity acts as a canvas for expression wherever it pops up.

Where digital fuels the democratic

Before stepping into the booth, users engage through an intuitive, mobile-first platform. ReBooth's digital layer offers personalized voter guides, gamified civic challenges, community story submissions, and live event updates. Social media integrations allow participants to share their voting stories, amplify causes, and stay connected post-election. It’s voting—but made social, meaningful, and mobile-native.

A booth that belongs to its block

Each ReBooth is designed as a modular, pop-up structure adaptable to different community contexts. Inspired by local materials, street culture, and open-source architecture, the booth blends privacy with openness, solemnity with energy. It includes tactile voting zones, digital touchpoints, ambient lighting, and flexible seating for post-vote dialogue. Echo Park’s booth may reflect street art; Chinatown’s may integrate lantern lighting and cultural motifs. Each booth lives locally.

Built to move, built to stay

ReBooth is made from low-impact materials: recycled aluminum frames, sustainable panels, and biodegradable textiles. Powered by solar panels with low-energy LED lighting, it’s carbon-conscious and climate-resilient. The structure is collapsible and transportable, enabling rapid deployment in parks, schools, and public plazas. We designed it to outlast one election cycle—to be used, reused, and reimagined for the long term.
